ORDERING AND SHIPPING

ORDERING INFORMATION MARCH 2019

As of March 2019 Bombshell Bay Swimwear will only sell Custom Made Swimwear. You can read all about the “Why” by clicking here

This means that any style you order atBombshell Bay Swimwear will be custom made. Yes, just for you. The process is as follows:

You choose the style, print and size from our range of Sustainable Swimwear range

We put your order into a production “pipeline” and start making the order for you. Please note it can take up to 4 weeks for us to make and ship the item (want it sooner? We do have a “jump the queue” service if you don’t want to (or can’t) wait that long. For a fee, you can have your order prioritised and out of our hands in less than 2 weeks)

When your order is ready, we will notify you of the tracking. We don’t provide production updates until the item is ready to be shipped.

 

SHIPPING INFORMATION MARCH 2019

As of March 2019 Bombshell Bay Swimwear is offering revised shipping costs in line with the changing needs of our customers. The updated shipping schedule is as follows:

We use Australia Post to ship our items. They are literally the worst. Sometimes we book pick ups, they don’t come and sometimes we send your precious parcels and they don’t arrive. If you are waiting for a delivery that has gone missing or hasn’t had a tracking update you can contact them here (you will need the tracking info supplied to you via email)

We are always looking for alternative shipping options and are open to all suggestions on great shipping suppliers.

ALL ORDERS
Flat Rate Shipping for all orders. 
A flat rate of $10 will apply to all orders
AU- Orders will be sent with Australia Post. Tracked.
NZ-Orders will be sent with Australia Post. Tracked.
Rest Of World- Orders will be sent with Australia Post/EMS Tracked.
You will be notified when your order has been dispatched and if applicable a tracking number will be added.

ORDER DISPATCH

Your order will be shipped in approx 3 business days after your order has been completed. If you have an urgent order we will try and ship it earlier. Drop us a line and we can sort it out.

We offer tracking on all orders, this ensures peace of mind and allows you to see where you order is and when it is likely to arrive.

Bombshell Bay does not take responsibility for any orders that may be lost or misplaced by Australia Post or any local mail carriers.

Bombshell Bay will assist customers who’s orders have tracking enabled to locate their items and assist in obtaining a replacement item or reimbursement from the mail carrier.


CUSTOMS AND TAXES

All countries have different laws regarding the importation of certain products.

Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges and are unable to provide estimates of costs as they differ widely from country to country.

Please note that understanding such import restrictions and the payment of any associated costs is considered the responsibility of the purchaser/receiver. We recommend you contact your local customs office for current charges before placing your order.

 

RETURNS POLICY

NEW RETURN POLICY AS OF 1 March 2019

Bombshell Bay Swimwear is unable to provide refunds for changes of mind.  However, we want you to be happy with the items you order so we have come up with a new returns policy that is more flexible for all of our customers.

CUSTOM MADE SWIMWEAR

Please note that we are unable to offer exchanges or refunds on our Custom Made Items. If you are not sure of your size, we encourage you to take advantage of the size charts and our ORDER 2 KEEP 1 offer (see below) Of course in the event an item is faulty or incorrect we will replace the item and cover all shipping costs.

ORDER MULTIPLE SIZES- RETURN WHAT DOESN’T FIT

Sometimes it’s hard to know which size to order when shopping online and even though we offer a size chart and a custom fit service, sometimes we find customers sometimes need to exchange their purchases.

We want to make life as easy as possible for our customers and are launching a new service… called ORDER 2 KEEP 1 (we didn’t spend as much time on the name as we would have liked)

It goes like this…

You are shopping for one of our tops online and you can’t decide between a Small and a Medium. You put both tops (same print) into your shopping cart and check out.

Your order arrives and you try on the tops and decide which is a better fit for you.

You contact us to let us know you are returning the unwanted top within 7 days of your order arriving and send it back to our Head Office in Australia. You can drop us a line at [email protected] with the order number and which size you are returning.

When we receive the returned item in original condition we will refund the cost of the garment less a 20% restocking fee returned within 7 days.

Here’s the fine print…

Only 1 of the multiple items can be returned for a refund (less the 20% restocking fee)
Items need to be in the same print (ie: x1 small palm canyon and x1 medium palm canyon)
You pay for the return shipping (please hold onto the tracking number)

We ask that returned items be shipped via registered mail to our Australian mailing address as below (please do not return items to our  dispatch address in Indonesia as the postal system can be very unreliable)

You must pay for the freight to return the goods and this must also be arranged by yourself. The goods are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse. Please ensure you pack the return safely to prevent any damage to the products or boxes. Bombshell Bay will reimburse the cost of shipping for faulty items.

 

HOW TO RETURN A PRODUCT

Please note that when you return a product it is very important to state the order number as well as your name and address. Without these details, we will not be able to process your refund. Furthermore, a detailed description of the problem is necessary – if you have a claim. Remember to provide us with a receipt for your shipping charges if we have to reimburse them. Please note we will only reimburse up to $20USD to return an item so please don’t send it by super fast unicorn delivery.

It can take up to 14-21 days for us to receive your return, depending on which postal service you use. Once we have received the returned products, we will inspect them and process the refund within 48 hours.
